Aconex is looking for a Systems Engineer in San Bruno
Every day at Aconex is different, as new clients, markets and business opportunities push us to achieve. Due to expansion, we are currently recruiting a proactive Systems Engineer to provide support to the continuous and efficient running of Aconex's global SaaS platforms from our San Bruno office.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Plan and carry-out systems maintenance activities
- Design, develop, test and implement automated scripts and other processes to ensure efficient operation of the system
- Ensure that all operational and administration activities are carried out with a security focus
- Work proactively with remote data centers.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for operational and management purposes
- Pro-actively contribute and support the team and Aconex
- Keep abreast with IT news and technologies

Hadapt is looking for a Systems Engineer
Hadapt is bringing the latest advances in relational database research to the Hadoop platform. We are looking for a systems engineer to support the development team and customer installations.
The position requires strong working knowledge of Linux and cluster administration (EC2 as well as dedicated hardware), scripting (shell, Python, etc.), and software installations ranging from OS to Hadoop and from user apps to monitoring tools (Ganglia, Nagios). Responsibilities will also include database systems installation and configuration, production troubleshooting, and writing some code (mostly Java) surrounding the Hadapt product.
