Olympic Site Architecture

Hello,everybody,I'm plant to building a new website like 2008.sina.com.cn 2008.sohu.com .site contents have pic news,text news,and video news.user blog ....now I have a question to ask everybody,I hope can get usefully information to here.

more than 200 servers

OpenBSD/Opensuse
Apache Fast CGI modules
lighttpd for picture
Mysql
varnish
LVS
lucene search

do you have a good idea to it?thans for everybody!

Since I would imagine Olympic viewing will be time sensitive you might want to look into a CDN for your hot content. And you haven't mentioned a caching strategy for the database. Handling high peak loads pretty much requires avoiding the database. I'd also have some quality upgrade and deployment features in case you need to bring more resources on line quickly.
